Thank you Kim & Mike for being the most hospitable hosts any guest could ask for. Our family had the best time! The house is absolutely beautiful. Beautiful backyard and lake. We enjoyed playing air hockey in the game room, badminton, lounging around on the hammock, roasting marshmallows by the lake, exploring Hastings and even taking a drive out to Lake Michigan for beaches and sand dunes. Kim is very attentive to anything you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The house is stocked with so many amenities

What an awesome place to stay! Kim is a superb host! We’ve never had a host go so above and beyond! Not only does she provide a list of things to do and restaurants in the area, but she also took us on a boat ride around the lake and a farm tour of her family’s dairy farm. She even came up with a bike for my granddaughter to ride! The house is beautifully decorated, and beds were very comfortable. She provided a large heavy duty air mattress for my granddaughter. Lots of games and puzzles, trains and toys for the little one. The garage houses a “man’s cave” or teen getaway with gaming system, ping pong and air hockey. Kitchen is wonderfully stocked with spices, cleaning materials, wine glasses. Drinking coffee by the lake (which was graciously provided) in the mornings and wine in the evenings allowed to envision our retirement! Kayaks were fun and easy to use, many sizes of life jackets. Great location for day trips to Grand Rapids, Saugatuck and Holland. We felt safe in this house and even felt like we were treated like family!

Amazing! Kim is a terrific host who takes pride in her rental home and her guests. She had everything you could think of include coffee/k-cups, toys for children, rafts, kayaks, paddle boat, gas grill, etc.! The home, furnishings and accommodations were beautiful and comfortable…we felt right at home! We enjoyed swimming in the water right outside of her home and the family dairy farm tour that Kim gave us. The downtown is cute and has some nice dining options, but we spent most of our time grilling and swimming at the house. This was by far the nicest house that we have rented on a lake, and we will definitely be back again next year. 5 stars all the way!!

We had the most perfect week at Middle Lake Vacations! The house itself is spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with the most thoughtful amenities! The view is breathtaking! We enjoyed playing in the sand and water, fishing, grilling, campfires, smores, outdoor games, the game room and so much more! Hastings is a great town to explore as well! We got to visit their County 4-H fair, delicious lunch at Walldorff, fun shopping at the general store, and the most unforgettable visit to the dairy farm. Kim is the most accommodating and thoughtful host you could ask for and she truly made this trip the BEST! We have returned relaxed and recharged and can’t wait to go back!

I have rented VRBO all over the world and Kimberly’s property and customer service was by for the absolute best!! There is nothing you could possibly need; she covers all basis and then some. The house is gorgeous, and she was more than accommodating for our child’s needs, we did not bring a thing from home for her! She had toys, books, pack n play, sandbox, and a child life vest. It was a huge relief not to have to worry about these things for our little one. This is a perfect get away for you and your family/friends. Rain or shine this home is perfect outside and in for your family to enjoy the lake and its beautiful views. I travel to MI often to visit my family, and this will be my home away from home!

Everything from the start of finding & booking the property, all the way through checkout was hands down the best experience I’ve ever had using both Vrbo & Airbnb. Kim is the sweetest, most communicative & accommodating Hostess I’ve experienced in all my travels. I told her the reason for my parents and I’s stay (we were celebrating) and she went above & beyond to make sure that we had the most special time while we were visiting. Not to mention the entire picturesque nature of the property: both the inside (main house & game room) & the outdoor portion (stunning waterfront property with the works) looks like something you’d find in a ‘better homes & gardens’ magazine. The beautiful lake it’s on is small & intimate, definitely gives you that very warm “this is right where I want to be” feeling when you’re out there watching the sun set or rise the next morning. The views aren’t limited to standing outside either as there are plenty of windows in the home that seem strategically placed to catch the best views possible, like the living room or master bedroom for example. The amenities provided were all as advertised, free guest WiFi, outdoor patio with outdoor furniture & patio lights, firepit (complete with the cutest s’mores station located in the full open plan kitchen). I’ll be honest our family wasn’t even expecting the game room as we booked a couple months ago, so when we found it we were so thrilled! I’m talking a huge tv just like in the living room, ping pong/air hockey table (my favorite!) & there was also a table full of fishing rods because from what I heard from Kim and saw from the many fishing boats, the fishing there is also excellent! The game room also has the coolest fireplace I’ve ever seen/used in my life. If you’re one of those people like me who love to go and explore new places, especially small historical towns, Hastings (only a 7 min drive out from the property) does not disappoint in the least! We got to check out a couple different restaurants & all kinds of cute, small shops. I very much enjoyed the Walldorff (their craft beer is stellar & you can buy it by the half gal to go as well along with other merch) but my favorite restaurant we went to was Bunker’s Smokehouse & Grille. Right next to bunkers Is the General store which was a real quaint unique spot that sells all kinds of art & gifts from Local Artist. Overall, this place and this hostess is Top Tier. 15/10 would recommend & will be returning! Thank You Kim!!
